In a twist that sounds like a punchline from a late-night comedy show, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), currently embroiled in serious human rights allegations, are reportedly courting YouTube megastar MrBeast for a partnership. This move comes after the US accused five IDF units of gross human rights violations, with one unit still under intense scrutiny.
MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is no stranger to controversy himself. On August 8, 2024, former employee DogPack404 released a damning video titled “I Worked For MrBeast, He’s A Sociopath.” The video alleges that MrBeast fostered a toxic work environment, employed a registered sex offender, and covered up misconduct. The revelations have shaken MrBeast’s reputation and raised questions about his judgment and moral compass.
A Match Made in PR Hell?
Desperation seems to be the common thread in this unholy alliance. The IDF, desperate to deflect from their international disgrace, apparently believes that teaming up with MrBeast will revamp their image. Meanwhile, MrBeast, grappling with his own PR crisis, might see this as an opportunity to showcase his philanthropic side on a grander scale.
The IDF’s interest in MrBeast is likely driven by his colossal influence and ability to captivate millions with his over-the-top stunts and charitable acts. However, partnering with a YouTuber who’s been recently labeled a sociopath and accused of shielding a sex offender is a PR gamble that could backfire spectacularly.

The very notion of a military force embroiled in human rights scandals teaming up with a YouTuber facing accusations of fostering a toxic workplace and hiring a sex offender sounds like a satirical plot line. Yet, it’s unfolding in real-time, proving once again that reality often outstrips fiction in absurdity.
